This policy explains what information is collected when you visit shanetuckerdesign.com (the “site”), operated by Shane Tucker Design, based in Columbus, Ohio. In short: I collect very little, I use it only to understand how the site is used and to reply to you, and I never sell it.
Information you choose to share
When you email me through a link on this site, I receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. I use it only to reply and, if we work together, to manage our project. I don't add you to a mailing list without asking.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it — for example, which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located (city or region), the type of device and browser, and which buttons are clicked, such as “Contact me.” Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to collect this information. It does not tell me who you are, and I don't use it to identify individual visitors.
You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Embedded content and fonts
Some pages include a video embedded from Vimeo, set to “do not track” mode. Vimeo may still receive basic technical information (like your IP address) when the player loads. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives basic technical information to deliver them. These services have their own privacy policies.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by SiteGround. Like most web hosts, its servers automatically keep standard logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and performance.
What I don't do
- I don't sell or rent your personal information.
- I don't use advertising or retargeting cookies on this site.
- I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information I hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. Email me and I'll respond promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
